Let’s face it… most programming tutorials are boring and dry. Examples are contrived and in the case of business application development you rarely build anything fun or entertaining. After making hundreds of IT courses and writing several books on Odoo I decided there must be a more fun way to learn how to develop business applications in Odoo.
While working on a major Odoo implementation project involving a company with 25 locations, 5,000 employees and over $500 million in annual revenue I designed many high level dashboard and reporting features. These new tools provides the company with real time feedback on decisions they make within the company. Like in many cases, this real-world experience gave me the idea to build a business simulation game using the Odoo framework.
Odoo Tycoon was born!
After several months of research I determined that the first step would be to create a perfectly paced tutorial that would take a brand new Python or Odoo developer and teach them the basics in a new and fun way. I wanted to make this first “bootcamp” course accessible to practically everyone. I’m very happy to announce that phase of the project is now complete and the Odoo Tycoon BootCamp has been launched to great success!

Your Instructor
Greg Moss ed working with personal computers at 12 years old. At age 15, he wrote his first paid business application, a loan management application for First American Acceptance Corporation. A few months later Greg developed a statistical application to process surveys for John A Logan College. Now more than 30 years later, Greg has produced hundreds of commercial applications and training courses, and has been involved in numerous enterprise application projects.
In addition to completing degrees in Business Administration and Information Systems Design, Greg is a Certified Information Systems Auditor, a Six Sigma Black Belt, and holds an Information Assurance Certification from Carnegie Mellon University. In addition to his successful consulting practice, Greg has worked in positions as a Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and excels in delivering technology-enabled growth to companies. He is an experienced digital marketer and focuses on real-world results and solutions.
Greg is the founder of First Class Ventures, LLC and OdooClass.com. Over the past 8 years Greg has produced over 200 video courses covering business application development and game design.
